Newberry Renews With Quu

Quu Inc., the trusted industry leader providing easy deployment of visual content for radio, announced that CEO Steve Newberry has signed a new three-year agreement.

Since joining Quu in 2020, Newberry has expanded the company’s footprint. Today, more than 2,000 radio stations use its patented technology to display real-time music, content, and advertiser messages on vehicle dashboards. These “Visual Quus” give radio a stronger and more memorable presence on digital displays. Newberry also launched the Quu Visual Network (QuuVN) and initiated Quu’s original research efforts as well, including the annual In-Vehicle Visual Reports and a QuuVN case study that found on-screen radio campaigns can increase purchase intent by 89%.

Quu’s expansion plans include extending its visual radio technology beyond dashboard screens into digital audio, streaming, and emerging channels. This strategy reflects Quu’s commitment to helping radio thrive wherever people listen.

“The past five years at Quu have been incredibly rewarding,” said Newberry. “We’ve worked hard to make visual radio seamless and accessible to stations of all sizes. Now our remarkable team is focused on new products to drive ratings and revenue across broadcast, digital, and future platforms. I’m excited about what’s next, not just for Quu, but for the entire radio industry.”

A lifelong broadcaster, Newberry became a station owner at 21. Before joining Quu, he served as the Joint Board Chair and Executive Vice President at the NAB, and he’s a recipient of the NAB National Radio Award. Newberry is also the Founder & Chairman of Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation, with stations in his home state of Kentucky.
