Niko Petrou Inks ‘BIG’ Extension

• Audacy has announced a multiyear contract extension with Niko Petrou to remain in afternoon drive on Classic Hits KOOL (BIG 94.5)/Phoenix.

“We’re ecstatic to bring listeners Niko’s electrifying energy for another three years,” said Dave Pugh, SVP/Market Manager, Audacy Phoenix. “After two decades on the radio, Niko still knows how to put on a lively show, and we’re excited for him to continue turning up the party during afternoons on BIG 94.5!”

Petrou is a 20-year radio pro who joined Audacy in 2018 as a morning co-host across the hall on Country 107.9 KMLE. Before moving to Phoenix, Petrou held various roles at former CBS Radio Top 40 WBMP (92.3 AMP Radio)/New York, including APD, MD and midday talent. Before that he did nights on Z100/New York.
