Rising Through The Ranks Deadline!
• Just a quick reminder that TODAY is the deadline to register to participate in the 11th annual Rising Through the Ranks Seminar, to be held August 15-16 at BMI’s Nashville office. The program is sponsored by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), Broadcast Music, Inc. ® (BMI®), and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW). As in years past, BMI is offering 20 scholarships to cover the cost of this professional development course, which is designed to foster and educate current and emerging female radio managers.
Sessions at this year’s seminar will include, among others: The Role of Today’s Radio Manager; Managing Up and Down; Having Difficult Conversations; Budgeting and Forecasting; Recruiting, Hiring, and Firing; Women in the Radio Workplaceand Building Your Personal Brand.

Applicants have until at 5pm CT today to fill out their scholarship applications and registration at rab.com. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their selection by Wednesday, June 27.
