Scott Sharp Comes Home To Z-93/Dayton
• Connoisseur Media Classic Hits WGTZ (Z-93)/Dayton, OH is proud to formally announce the return of longtime market veteran Scott Sharp, a familiar and beloved voice for the Gem City, as host of The Morning Z with Scott Sharp, weekdays from 6-10am. Sharp had been tracking mornings on Z-93 since the station relaunched in October, but now he’s live in-studio.
“I am beyond excited to be back on the Morning Z on the legendary Z-93,” said Sharp, who originally worked at Z-93 in a variety of mix-and-match roles (PD, MD, mornings afternoon, nights) from 1997 until the station flipped to Adult Hits in Nov. 2007. He subsequently crossed the street to then Mainline-owned Rhythmic WDHT (Hot 102.9) as PD/afternoons until early 2012, when he stepped away from radio to help run his father’s printing business.
Sharp added, “Being live every morning from 6 to 10 allows us to take things to the next level and focus on what’s happening NOW in Dayton. The music you remember, the station you remember and now the fun you remember, LIVE every morning on Z-93.”
