WBAL Launches ‘C4 & Bryan Nehman’
• Hearst Television’s WBAL (NewsRadio 1090/101.5)/Baltimore has launched a new morning news and talk program that combines two of the area’s most recognizable and respected voices: Clarence M. Mitchell IV, better known and loved as “C4,” and Bryan Nehman. The newly minted Mornings with C4 and Bryan Nehman airs weekdays 5:30-10am. In addition to insight, debate and examination of the day’s top issues, the show will provide breaking news, weather, traffic and sports updates.
Mitchell previously hosted The C4 Show weekdays from 9am to 1pm. Well-connected to the community, he is also known as “Mr. Baltimore” to his listeners and his show has featured numerous prominent newsmakers. He was recently honored by the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association in the category of Outstanding Talk Show. Nehman has spent the past eight years as host of WBAL News Nowweekday mornings and has earned multiple Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards over the course of his career.
“C4 and Bryan are among Maryland’s most informed, outspoken and connected broadcasters,” said Cary Pahigian, President & GM of WBAL and WIYY (98 Rock). “Their frequent on-air collaborations always receive high marks from listeners. This new partnership, along with WBAL’s award-winning news coverage, further solidifies WBAL as Baltimore’s first choice for news and talk.”
And there’s more movement — along with this new morning lineup, Yuripzy Morgan moves to 10am-2pm. A permanent 2-6pm host will be announced soon.
