Wilson Takes The Dawn Patrol At KEYN

• Audacy Classic Hits 103.7 KEYN/Wichita, KS announces Dave Wilson as its new morning host, starting Monday, April 28. Wilson is a longtime fixture in the KEYN hallways — he most recently covered nights, but previously spent four years in afternoon drive and a year as morning co-host until last August.

Wilson spent the first decade of his career, starting in 1989 as OM of News-Talk sister KNSS. He went on to co-host mornings on crosstown 99.1 KTLI, and notably spent nearly 15 years as PD of iHeartMedia AC KRBB (B98) until he and his morning team were downsized in April 2019.

“With over three decades of experience in radio, Dave has consistently shown a commitment to enhancing the listeners’ experience and connecting with his local community,” said Becky Domyan, SVP/Market Manager, Audacy Wichita & St. Louis. “His passion, energy and dedication make him the perfect voice to start the day for Wichitans, and we’re excited to have him take the reins.”

“I have been extremely grateful to have had the chance to be on this iconic Wichita radio station for the past five years in various dayparts,” said Wilson. “Now, I am so excited to host KEYN mornings full-time and help our listeners start their day.”

Wilson succeeds JR Gonzalez, who, as we previously reported, had been dealing with several serious medical issues and left the company in early March.
