KC’s Wolf About To Wake Up Differently

• Last week we reported that Audacy Country WDAF (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City had cut ties with morning duo Zeke Montana & Codie Allen, and afternoon personality Jeff “Shotgun” Jaxon.

Stand by for the formal announcement, but RAMP has already confirmed that the station now replaced 2/3 of that list — The Wolf is about to launch a newly created morning show consisting of A) market veteran Jenny Matthews (ex-KBEQ), and B) Mike “Jagger” Thomas, who does afternoon drive across the hall on Hot AC sister KZPT (99.7 The Point). The all-new Jenny & Jagger In The Morning will debut on Sept. 9.

Matthews left her morning show position on Steel City rival KBEQ (Q104) in February after five years, and Jagger joined KZPT in March, six months after his previous position as PD/afternoon host over at Cumulus Top 40 KCHZ (now KMJK)/Kansas City was eliminated.
