Addams Named OD of MacDonald Saginaw

• Jason Addams has returned to the great state of Michigan, hired by MacDonald Broadcasting as Operations Director of the company’s Saginaw group: Country WKCQ, Adult Hits WMJO (97.3 Joe FM) and AC simulcast WSAG/WSAM-AM (104.1 The Bay). He succeeds Brian Hatfield, who exited in March.

The move marks a return to the MacDonald Broadcasting fold for Addams, who earlier in his career programmed sister WHZZ (Z101.7)/Lansing, MI. Addams most recently programmed Max Media Country WGH-FM (97.3 The Eagle)/Norfolk/Virginia Beach until February. Before that he spent five years with Cumulus Media/Westwood One Nashville as PD/Operations Coordinator. He also did afternoons on Classic Country WSM-FM (95.5 NASH Icon)/Nashville and the brand’s 46 network affiliates.

Addams also programmed WSTO/Evansville, IN and was APD for KQAR/Little Rock, AR. He also did nights at WZPL/Indianapolis and mornings on KQBT/Austin.
