Al Levine Summoned By The Boss
• Tri-State radio icon Al Levine “On The Scene” has been wisely snapped up by Press Communications’ Jersey Shore Classic Rock WWZY/WBHX (107-1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean to host a new weekly specialty show, The Boss Radio Hall of Fame, which debuts tomorrow night.
The show will spotlight a particular artist, year or theme, and Levine will bring his deep knowledge of music and the charts, combined with his high energy delivery to bring it all to life. He’ll also appear on-air periodically on weekends.
Levine famously spent the past several decades at CMG Top 40 WBLI/Long Island, and was previously heard on heritage stations including KC101/New Haven, WTIC-FM/Hartford and 92PRO-FM/Providence. “I’m excited to be on board with this team!” Levine said. “A lot of big talent on a station with a lot of style! I’m looking forward to hosting a special feature show on The Boss Wednesday nights!”
Robby Bridges, morning co-host and Press Communications’ VP of Programming, said, “We have built one of the premiere on air staffs in America at 107-1 The Boss, and Al Levine fits like a glove. We are thrilled to have him host this fun show as only he can. It’s the special and unique connection iconic talent like Al makes with the listener to keep them coming back to the radio station for more, that a streaming playlist never could!”
The Boss Radio Hall of Fame with Al Levine will air Wednesdays from 7-11pm ET, starting tomorrow.
