All Road Signs Lead Home

• In late February of this year, veteran programmer Brian Kelly, a fixture with Audacy Top 40 WXSS (103.7 Kiss FM) and Hot AC WMYX (99.1 The Mix)/Milwaukee for three decades, resigned as OM and corporate VP of Top 40 Programming.

Imagine Kelly’s surprise when SVP/Market Manager Jason Bjorson invited him to attend the regular monthly staff meeting on Tuesday. Kelly tells RAMP, “At the end of the meeting we went out in the hallway where the studios are, and they pulled a hood off the sign that reads ‘BK Way.’ Jason said, ‘You built these stations; it only seems fitting to name this hallway of studios after you.’ It was very nice of him to do.”

Later, a grateful Kelly posted this photo to Facebook, along with this heartfelt sentiment that reads, in part, “I’m truly honored and humbled to have my name associated with this place. Buildings are made of bricks and beams, but the heart of any building is the people who bring life to it. This isn’t just a recognition of my work — it’s a reflection of the support, collaboration, and inspiration I’ve received from so many of you over the years. I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited about what comes next. Thank you for this incredible gesture. I’ll never take it for granted!”
