ALT 105.1/Louisville Hires [You] As PD

• On August 31, Alpha Media bestowed upon the city of Louisville a rare treat by introducing a new Alternative station into the market with the launch of ALT 105.1.

Now that the new station has been up and running for nearly two weeks, the powers-that-be figured the time was right to find someone awesome to run it. To that end, Alpha Media is now seeking a strong radio professional to handle the demanding multiple duties of Program Director, afternoon drive personality, and overall leader for ALT 105.1.

The ideal candidate must fully understand and embrace the Alternative Rock lifestyle and demonstrate strategic programming and digital experience. You must also be dynamic on the air, a multimedia visionary, have an excellent attention to detail, and be outgoing, passionate and an excellent communicator, both internally and externally. Applicants must also have a full understanding of what it takes to compete and generate revenue while keeping a strong commitment of providing compelling local content.
