Amber Glaze Touches Down In Tulsa

• Griffin Communications’ Country KVOO/Tulsa, OK announces the imminent arrival of Amber Glaze as the station’s new MD/afternoon personality. That spot has been up for grabs since April, when Kristina Carlyle left to become MD/morning co-host at Pamal Broadcasting Country WKLI (100.9 The Cat)/Albany, NY.

KVOO PD Brian Jennings said, “Amber brings ideas and energy, along with her passion for Country music. We waited for the right candidate to come along, and we’re so excited she’s finally here. Her bright demeanor, silly sense of humor, and trademark boisterous laugh make for an invaluable addition to the KVOO team.”

Glaze has spent the past three years with Signal Media Country KHLR (106.7 The Ride)/Little Rock, AR as co-host of the Hot Mess In The Morning With Amber & Luke. Before that she co-hosted the morning show with Phil Thompson on Scripps Classic Rock KFXJ (104.5 The Fox)/Wichita, KS. Glaze got her start as Promotions Director/middays at KLAZ/Hot Springs, AR and later put in a short stint in mornings at WPHR/Vero Beach, FL.
