Jeff Anderson Returns To Radio One

• Radio One, Inc. just announced that Jeff “Uzi D” Anderson has returned to the company, this time as the new Operations Manager for the company’s brands in the Charlotte — Urban WQNC (92.7 The Block), Urban AC WOSF (105.3 RnB) and Inspirational WPZS (Praise 100.9). He succeeds “Mary K” Schmitt, who exited earlier this week.

Doug James, VP/GM for Radio One Charlotte, said of Anderson, “Jeff has an outstanding track record, both with Radio One Richmond and with urban brands in the Charlotte market. We look forward to having him rejoin the company, this time in Charlotte, where he has already had great success as a programmer.” James is right — Anderson comes fully equipped with a working knowledge of the Charlotte market — he most recently served two years as Operations Manager for Beasley Urban AC WBAV (V101.9) and Urban WPEG (Power 98) until June 2018. Before that he spent nine years with Radio One Richmond, rising to OM of the cluster. Earlier in his career Anderson programmed Beasley’s WZFX (Foxy 99) & WUKS (Kiss 107.7)/Fayetteville, NC.
