Audacy Alters Alt Oversight
• Audacy announced several regional Alternative programming adjustments in the wake of this week’s welcome relaunch of legendary Alternative KITS (LIVE 105)/San Francisco — as it was announced that RVP/Alternative John Allers would now oversee LIVE 105, Allers hands off oversight of KBZT (ALT 94.9)/San Diego to his fellow RVP/Alt, Ross Mahoney.
Allers retains oversight of KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle, KNRK (94/7 FM)/Portland, KVIL (ALT 103.7)/Dallas and KKDO (ALT 94.7)/Sacramento.
Mahoney, in turn, relinquishes his command of WRXL (ALT 102.1)/Richmond and transfers it to RVP/Alt Christine Malovetz, while keeping control of WSFS (104.3 The Shark)/Miami, WQMP (FM101.9)/Orlando, and KRBZ (ALT 96.5)/Kansas City.
Malovetz continues to oversee ALT 92.3 (WINS-FM-HD2)/New York and WDZH (ALT 98.7)/Detroit while adding WRXL. Pictured, (l-r): Allers, Mahoney & Malovetz.
