Audacy Realigns Country Leadership
• Audacy announced several promotions across its newly realigned Country format leadership team — Mark Anderson (left) has been elevated to Regional Vice President, supporting operations for WLKK (107.7/104.7 The Wolf)/Buffalo, WPAW (93.1 The Wolf)/Greensboro, NC, WDSY (Y108) in his home market of Pittsburgh, 92.3 WBEE/Rochester, NY, and WGGY (Froggy 101)/Wilkes-Barre-Scranton, PA.
At the same time Chris Michaels (center) has been promoted to Regional Brand Manager, where he will support the execution of programming, music and branding for the aforementioned stations. Both moves are effective immediately.
Anderson joined the company in 2010 as Pittsburgh Ops Manager and was promoted to VP of Programming in 2017. He currently serves as Brand Manager of Y108, WBZZ (100.7 Star) and the market’s newest brand, WAMO 107.3. Michaels joined Audacy in 2011 as Operations Manager for the company’s Memphis market. Previous stops include the late WABB/Mobile, AL, WERO/Greenville-New Bern, NC, and WAPE/Jacksonville.

• Audacy also announced that Drew Bland (right), Brand Manager of KMLE/Phoenix will annex bonus Brand Manager duties for his former station, KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle. Bland rejoined the company as Brand Manager of KMLE in 2021 after a stint as VP of Promotion for Monument Records. He previously programmed 100.7 The Wolf/Seattle and CMG’s WWKA (K92.3)/Orlando, and enjoyed an earlier seven-year stint with KMLE in various on-air and programming roles.
Anderson’s and Michaels’ promotions are part of a Country format realignment across Audacy’s 20 Country stations. Under this new arrangement, RVP John Foxx and Regional Brand Manager Justin Cole will oversee KILT (100.3 The Bull)/Houston; WUSY (US 101)/Chattanooga; WKIS (Kiss Country 99.9)/Miami; WHLL-AM/Springfield, MA; New York’s Country HD2/New York and Big 98.5 (WRXL-HD2)/Richmond.
RVP Kevin Callahan and Regional Brand Manager Scott Roddy will oversee KSON/San Diego; WDAF (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City; KWJJ (99.5 The Wolf)/Portland, OR; KFRG (K-Frog 95.1)/Riverside;KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle and KMLE/Phoenix.
Country Format VP Tim Roberts and Regional Brand Manager Marci Braun will continue to oversee WUSN (US 99)/Chicago; 99.5 WYCD/Detroit; KMNB (102.9 The Wolf)/Minneapolis and WLFP (94.1 The Wolf)/Memphis.
