Austin Named PD of The Bull/St. Louis

• iHeartMedia announced that Gail Austin has been named Program Director of Country KSD-FM (93-7 The Bull)/St. Louis, effective December 3.

The move marks a homecoming for Austin, who held previous operations and programming positions with iHeartMedia/Clear Channel, including WCOL/Columbus, OH and a decade with Clear Channel Jacksonville as Director of Programming and PD of Country WQIK until Sept. 2011.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gail back to iHeartMedia and excited to watch her take The Bull to new heights,” noted SVP of Programming Jules Riley. “We spoke with a number of talented programmers, but Gail’s competitive drive, creativity and talent development made her our ideal candidate.”
