B96/Chicago Launches ‘Moug & Karla Mornings’
• Audacy Top 40 WBBM-FM (B96)/Chicago announces a new weekday on-air lineup, starting with the arrival of John Moug as morning co-host alongside B96 morning show veteran Karla Hernandez to create… wait for it… Moug and Karla Mornings,” weekdays from 5:30 to 9am CT.
“We are thrilled to welcome Moug to B96!” said Molly Cruz, Brand Manager of B96. “His passion for radio and wealth of experience in strategic morning show execution makes him the perfect addition to our team — not to mention he’s one of the most likable guys in the business!”
Moug joins B96 from Lotus Hot AC KPLZ (Star 101.5)/Seattle, where he has hosted mornings for two years alongside Angie Parker. The move marks a return to Audacy for Moug, who began his career at 98.5 KLUC/Las Vegas. Moug previously hosted “The Wolf Wake Up Show with John & Jamie” on KKSE (92.5 The Wolf)/Denver.

Karla Hernandez and new midday personality Jeana Shepard are former members of B96’s Morning Mess, which disbanded in February as co-host Aneesh Ratan exited. Dash remains in afternoon drive, followed by Bru from 7-11pm. That said, here is the new B95 weekday lineup — 5:30-9am: Moug and Karla Mornings; 9am-2pm: Jeana; 2-7pm: Dash; 7-11pm: Bru.
