Baltimore Wakes Up With Michael J & Candace

• iHeartMedia Country 93.1 WPOC/Baltimore welcomes Candace Dold as co-host of the rebranded Michael J & Candace In The Morning, weekdays from 6-10am, plugged in across the console from freshly minted Country Radio Hall of Famer Michael J.

Dold makes the move to radio from WBFF (FOX45)/Baltimore, where she served as a news reporter and anchor from 2005 to 2019. She was also the host of B’More Lifestyle on FOX45.

Dold now reports to Jeff Kapugi, Region SVP of Programming, who remarked, “We are excited to welcome Candace to mornings on WPOC and to Michael J & Candace In The Morning. Candace came in as a guest fill-in while we conducted our search, and it was such a natural fit for her and the show that we realized we already had the perfect duo to help wake up Baltimore every morning. I can’t wait to hear the magic they create.”

“I’m beyond excited to be back in the studio and join Michael J for Baltimore’s morning routine,” said Dold. “I was born and raised in Maryland and have always listened to 93.1 WPOC, so I’m thrilled about the opportunity to join the family.”

Dold succeeds Michael J’s former longtime co-host Bethany Linderman, who signed off in December to focus fully on her real estate career.
