Baumgartner Sporting St. Louis Stripes
• Congrats to Jake Baumgartner, midday talent on Audacy Hot AC KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis on his swell promotion to Assistant Brand Manager & Music Director for Y98 and AC 102.5 KEZK.
Baumgartner is a St. Louis native who originally did nights at the former WNOU (Now 96.3) before transitioning to News-Talk KMOX as a producer. He later took over nights on Y98 before moving to his current 10am-1pm position in 2022.
In making the official announcement of Baumgartner’s upgrade, JR Ammons, VP of Operations and Programming for Audacy Kansas City, remarked, “Jake has been the go-to guy from the moment I arrived in St. Louis; always stepping up, and even proactively teaching himself GSelector so he could begin scheduling music logs. He’s a talented on-air personality, and I look forward to working more closely with Jake in all aspects of programming these two heritage brands.”
