Beasley Names Chief Of Chief Engineers

• Beasley Media Group announces Lamar Smith has been promoted to Director of Corporate Engineering, effective Sept. 1.

Smith, who has been with the company since 2011, most recently served as Vice President of Engineering. In his newly expanded role, he will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities across Beasley’s 57 radio properties throughout the United States. He will remain based in Charlotte.

“Lamar’s commitment, dedication and experience are exactly what we need as the organization continues to evolve and innovate into the future,” said Beasley CEO Caroline Beasley.
