Benztown Boosts Mayton & Anderson
• Benztown, a global leader in radio imaging, voiceover, programming and jingles appointed longtime company vet Scott “Justin Case” Mayton to the newly created position of Director, National Imaging. Concurrently, Benztown also promotes Matt Anderson from Imaging Producer into Mayton’s former position, Director, Custom Imaging.
In his new role, Mayton (left) will provide dedicated “white glove” service to national media companies signing group imaging deals with Benztown, which currently provides nationwide audio imaging services to Cumulus Media, Beasley Media Group, Yamanair Creative and Saga Communications, which entered into a national partnership with Benztown earlier this month. Mayton’s work can be heard nationwide on Cumulus projects for The Grammys, The American Music Awards and other high-profile national audio productions. Mayton holds a Master’s certificate in Music Production & Technology from Boston’s renowned Berklee College of Music. In 2014, he was named to the Nielsen/Edison Research “Audio’s 30 under 30” list.
In his new role, Anderson (right) will oversee Custom Imaging for Benztown and its audio affiliates across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining Benztown in January, Anderson was Creative Services Director for iHeartMedia in Boston. He also served iHeartMedia as Programming/Production Assistant for its six-station group in Providence.
Commenting on these swell upgrades, Benztown PresidentDave “Chachi” Denes said, “We are at an exciting juncture in our company’s growth and are pleased to introduce the concierge service model to national media companies — an idea whose time has come. The efficiency and value of national imaging deals continue to make sense to radio groups. These two appointments will enable us to continue delivering the outstanding quality, consistency and service for which we have become known and provide professional ‘white glove’ service to our national imaging partners.”
