Big League Player Trades At Cumulus Nashville

• Cumulus Nashville emerged from the Labor Day Weekend by pulling off several staff trades between its Country stations — WKDF (103.3 Country) sends midday talent Amy Paige over to sister 95.5 WSM-FM in exchange for midday personality Lucas Phelan.

And there’s more: The company’s nationally syndicated Country Nights Live With Bev Rainey also makes the switch from WKDF over to WSM-FM, while WKDF taps Justin Franiak, host of The Overnight Ride With Justin Franiak, to anchor 7-midnight locally.

Paige joined WKDF as midday talent in Jan. 2022, following a nine-year run at iHeartMedia rival WSIX. She’s also been heard on SiriusXM’s Prime Country and The Highway. Earlier in her career Paige worked at the late WRQX (Mix 107.3)/Washington.

Phelan, whose day job is APD/afternoon talent at sister WKHX (New Country 101-FIVE)/Atlanta, annexed middays at WSM-FM in June. Phelan earlier worked extensively in the Twin Cities, programming Country KMNB (102.9 The Wolf)/Minneapolis, preceded by 11 years with KDWB.
