‘Big Pig’ Welcomes ‘Big Rick’
• 7 Mountains Media is excited to welcome veteran programmer/air talent “Big” Rick Daniels as Operations Manager of its Olean, NY cluster and afternoon drive personality on Country WPIG (95.7 The Big Pig), with a start date of July 26. The Olean group also includes Classic Hits WOLY-AM (Big Oly 107.1), Top 40 WMXO (Mix 101.5), and Classic Rock WQRS (98 Rocks).
“From our very first conversation, we knew Rick would be a tremendous leader and help elevate our Olean stations to new heights,” said JC Burton, Chief Programming Officer of 7 Mountains Media. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him along with a remarkable social media following.” That experience includes stops at WTVY/Dothan, AL, KIZN/Boise, ID, WQXQ/Owensboro, KY, WGGC/Bowling Green, KY and most recently, WKKG/Columbus, IN.
