Bill Fox On The Loose
• RAMP has confirmed that Bill Fox and Midwest Communications have parted ways after three years. Fox joined the company in June 2021 as Brand Manager/afternoon talent at Country WDEZ/Wausau, WI, leading the station to three consecutive top rated books before transferring to Peoria, IL to lead the team at Country WXCL (104.9 The Wolf). In January, Fox just doubled his programming portfolio with the addition of Brand Manager stripes at AC sister WSWT (Mix 106.9) succeeding Randy Rundle, who retired after 36 years.
In the Spring 2024 Nielsens, Fox says that Mix 106.9 and the morning show were both No. 1 25-54. 104.9 The Wolf was No. 2 and had its highest ratings in 26 years.
Fox previously did mornings on Press Communications’ Classic Rock WWZY (107.1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean, NJ, Townsquare Country WOKQ/Portsmouth, NH, Pamal AC WYJB (B95.5)/Albany, NY and Binnie Media’s WFNK (107.5 Frank FM)/Portland ME. Fox has also worked at KXOA/Sacramento, KWYE (Y101)/Fresno, KLLY/Bakersfield and WBHT/Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Fox is available immediately and is willing to relocate. If you are in need of an AC, Classic Hits, or Country morning show and/or Brand Manager, reach him at bfoxrox@gmail.com or 207-756-0505.
