Blake New PD of WNCB/Raleigh

Congrats to Carletta Blake, PD of Alpha Media Country WRNS/New Bern, NC, who is moving up to a larger market and doesn’t even have to leave the state — she’s the new PD of iHeartMedia Country WNCB (B93.9)/Raleigh. Blake succeeds Todd Nixon, who in January was named PD of Steel City Media Country KBEQ (Q104)/Kansas City.

Blake starts her new job on March 27 and reports to Chris Edge, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Raleigh, who commented, “Carletta is a gifted individual. I’m looking forward to how her creative energy and strategic thinking will help us grow the brand. We are lucky to have her at the helm of B93.9.”

Prior to her nine-year run with WRNS, Blake spent four years in Dallas-Fort Worth at the former KTYS and KSCS. “The lessons I’ve learned in the last 10 years have been invaluable,” said Blake. “I’ve been very blessed and I’m really excited for this new adventure. I can’t wait to see what magic we can make happen at B93.9.”
