Bo Jaxon: Free Agent

• RAMP has confirmed that Bo Jaxon has exited as OM of SummitMedia’s Springfield, MO cluster and PD of heritage Country KTTS after nine months on the job — he has returned home to Colorado for family reasons. In the interim, a familiar name has stepped into the breach — Tom Oakes, who previously served as interim OM/PD of the Springfield group from mid-2018 until Jaxon’s arrival in February. Oakes will once again oversee KTTS, Top 40 KSPW (Power 96.5), News/Talk 104.1 KSGF and Adult Hits KRVI (106.7 The River), allwhile continuing to serve as interim PD of Country cousin WCYQ (100.5 The Wolf)/Knoxville.

Jaxon previously programmed KSE Country KWOF (92.5 The Wolf)/Denver until Sept. 2018. He also programmed clustermate KIMN (Mix 100.3). Jaxon previously spent seven years as PD of Cumulus Hot AC KBBY (B95.1) & Sports-Talk KVEN-AM/Oxnard-Ventura, CA, and he notably spent 14 years in various roles with KLUC/Las Vegas, which earned him a 2018 induction into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.

Jaxon is now seeking his next radio opportunity in Colorado and can be reached at 720-383-8388 or bomorningradio@hotmail.com.
