Bob Lawrence On The Move

• RAMP has learned that veteran programmer, GM and consultant Bob Lawrence is packing for a relocation from his current position as GM/Market Manager of 7 Mountains Media’s six-station group serving Parkersburg, WV-Marietta, OH for a new opportunity TBA.

In a statement, Lawrence said, “So very grateful to [Pres./Owner] Kristin Cantrell and 7 Mountains Media for the amazing opportunity I’ve had as GM/Market Manager here in Parkersburg-Marietta. Kristin has created one of the most forward-thinking, technically savvy groups in the industry, with a singular vision of local, compelling content. I got my start on the air here at WXIL many years ago and I was honored to come back decades later to lead this wonderful team of people dedicated to serving the community. My last day here at these six great radio/digital properties will be this Friday, May 16th as I’ll be headed to another great city for another truly iconic owner and company. Look for that announcement very soon. Thank you Mid Ohio Valley, for a wonderful time in this terrific town.”
