Bob & Tom & Marty Reunited
• The BOB & TOM Show welcomes a very familiar face back into the inner sanctum, as Marty Bender is named as a consulting member of the show’s Affiliate Services team and growth partner to the Westwood One-syndicated show and its 100+ affiliates.
In this new role, Bender, the show’s former Executive Producer, will serve as a content/strategy partner to the affiliates, helping them optimize and monetize the show in their local markets while helping create new content, growing the show’s video presence, and packaging the large volume of entertainment content from The BOB & TOM Show for distribution across various digital platforms.
John Kesler, Chief Operating Officer of The BOB & TOM Show, commented, “Listeners consume more hours of content in countless ways, and now more than ever, they want to control when they consume it. 2022 is just the beginning of a huge change in how radio will evolve to meet listener demands. Bender notably served as OM/PD of of the show’s flagship, WFBQ/Indianapolis for over two decades, doubling as Executive Producer of The BOB & TOM Show, as well as a stint as VP of Programming for Premiere Networks. Last October, after five years as PD of Cumulus Classic Rock WOFX (92.5 The Fox)/Cincinnati, Bender launched his media consultancy, the awesomely named “Worst Consultant Ever” — and yes, The BOB & TOM Show is a client.
