Brett Andrews: Free Agent
• It appears those iHeart budget cuts have reared their heads once again, this time adversely affecting the continued employment of 16-year company veteran Brett Andrews, who has exited his position as SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Milwaukee and Madison. Andrews was also handling PD and morning show duties at ’80s & ’90s Hits WRIT (BIG 95.7)/Milwaukee.
Andrews has been in the building since Jan. 2015, when he transferred from the PD post at Top 40 sister KSLZ (Z107-7) & Rhythmic KBWX (WiLD 104-9)/St. Louis. Prior to his two-year St. Louis run, Andrews programmed Top 40 sibling KKRZ and Rhythmic KXJM/Portland. Andrews added PD/afternoons for WZEE (Z104)/Madison in 2020 and was elevated to SVPP for Milwaukee and Madison in 2022.
Andrews’ extensive resume also includes a PD stint at KZCH/Wichita, afternoons at KFRX/Lincoln, NE and KVEG (Hot 97-5)/Las Vegas, and he enjoyed a earlier Milwaukee run doing nights at Entercom Top 40 WXSS (103.7 Kiss FM).
