Bursey Lands In Sioux Falls

Midwest Communications’ Mainstream Rock KRRO/Sioux Falls, SD welcomes Denzil Bursey aboard as the station’s new afternoon personality and Asst. Brand Manager. Burley (pictured) is inbound from Detroit, where he had been doing traffic and swing for iHeartMedia’s WDTW (106.7 The D). He previously spent some quality time in Atlanta doing mornings and promotions with the old WZGC (92.9 dave FM), WWWQ (Q100) and WSTR (Star 94).

Operations Manager Tom Gjerdrum said, “We’ve been looking long and hard to find just the person to take the reigns of Sioux Falls iconic rock station — and Denzil is the guy! He’s got a passion and fire for the format and he’s a real people person who’ll become a star in Sioux Falls quickly.” Bursey commented, “I’m glad to have found a new home in Sioux Falls and start a new chapter in my broadcasting career.
