CBI & BEA Forge Mile-High Alliance

• College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) are proud to announce a landmark partnership that will bring together CBI’s Annual National Student Media Convention and BEA’s On-Location fall conference in Denver.

This collaborative event represents an unprecedented opportunity for students, educators, and professionals in the media industry to establish meaningful connections, exchange industry insights and advance their respective career trajectories in an integrated environment. The joint convention is happening at the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver from October 22-25, creating one of the largest gatherings of collegiate media and broadcast education professionals in the country.

“By combining our resources and expertise, we’re able to offer an even more comprehensive and valuable experience for our members,” said Anabella Poland, President of College Broadcasters, Inc., and General Manager of Montclair State University’s WMSC-FM. “This partnership directly responds to feedback from our members who have long requested a unified conference location to reduce travel expenses and time away from campus. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to serve student media outlets across the nation while making our professional development opportunities more accessible.”

Heather Birks, BEA Executive Director, added, “It makes perfect sense to combine our efforts and shared goals for these two fall conferences. We are thrilled to partner with such a respected student media association and look forward to connecting our academic conferences to showcase creativity, research and innovation.”

Registration for the joint convention opens on Tuesday, April 1, and early bird pricing will be available until Sept. 30. For more info about this special event, please visit askcbi.org/denver.
