Mix 94.1 Brand Manager J Love immediately swings into action and promotes midday personality Heather Collins to APD/afternoon drive, replacing Tempesta. J Love moves from nights to middays, and longtime Mix 94.1 morning talent Mercedes Martinez will assume the additional role of Asst. MD.

• Tempesta (pictured here with his sons Colin and Marco) has also relinquished his midday tracking gig on Audacy AC sister WMJX (Magic 106.7)/Boston, as he explained via social media, “I will remain here in Las Vegas hosting Vegas Morning Blend on [ABC affiliate] KTNV with one of my best friends, JJ Snyder. Plus, I will continue to host Free 4 All weeknights at 7pm PT on Twitch.” Tempesta added, “I’ve spent most of my adult life here. My kids were born here. It’s home. I’m going to be able to catch my breath after a solid 20+ months of 17-hour days, and my kids will get to see their dad again. Which I’m hugely looking forward to.”
