Charlie Steele Hits The Beach
• Dick Broadcasting Company (DBC) has named Charlie Steele as Operations Manager of the company’s recently acquired cluster in scenic Myrtle Beach, SC — Top 40 WMYB (Energy 92.1), Classic Rock WYAV (Wave 104.1), News-Talk WRNN-FM/AM, and Alternative WKZQ.
Steele begins his new opportunity on March 21, and relocates from Louisville, where he was most recently APD of W&B Broadcasting Country WLVK (Big Cat 105.5) and on-air at Classic Hits WAKY. He previously spent two decades across the street with Clear Channel/iHeartMedia as PD of Classic Rock WQMF and Active Rock WTFX (93.1 The Fox).
