Chris Crowley: 1 Man, 2 Cities, 4 Stations
• Chris Crowley is about to become a very busy man, as iHeartMedia announced Crowley will take the programming reins of four major North Carolina radio stations — Alternative WEND (106.5 The End) & Classic Rock WRFX (99.7 The Fox)/Charlotte and Classic Rock WRDU (100.7 WRDU) & Alternative WDCG-HD2 (ALT 95.3)/Raleigh, effective October 1.
Crowley will head due south from Buffalo, NY, where he had served as Director of Content for Townsquare Media since 2018. His previous programming/on-air stops include KGON/Portland, OR; WCMF & WROC/Rochester; WARO/Ft. Myers, FL; KNRQ, KEHK, & KUJZ/Eugene, OR and a stint with Jacobs Media in Detroit. Crowley began his radio career at KGOT/Anchorage, AK.
Upon his arrival Crowley will report to A.J., SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Charlotte and Raleigh, who commented, “It’s an absolute privilege to bring Chris aboard for oversight of some of our most renowned brands in both markets.
