CMG Ups Babin To SVP/Radio
• Cox Media Group (CMG) announced the appointment of Rob Babin as SVP of Radio. As CMG’s head of radio and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, Babin is responsible for the profitability, strategic direction, and operational execution of CMG’s 65 radio stations in 11 markets. That position was most recently held by 30-year company veteran Bill Hendrich, who retired as CMG’s EVP of Radio at the end of 2020.

Babin’s radio career spans 25 years, with the last two decades spent leading various business units and markets for CMG, most recently as VP/Market Manager of CMG Atlanta. He previously served as Regional Vice President of five CMG radio markets (Miami, Houston, Tampa, San Antonio and Long Island), VP/Market Manager for CMG Miami, Director of Sales & General Sales Manager for CMG Atlanta and GSM for CMG Orlando’s WWKA.
