Conservative Talk Moves To The Left
• iHeartMedia Boston moved its conservative talk programming from WKOX-1430AM to the more powerful WXKS-AM, now rebranded as “Talk 1200, Boston’s Conservative Talk,” featuring the usual conservative talk suspects — Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Buck Sexton and Mark Levin. WXKS had been airing Bloomberg Business.
“We are excited to have this powerful lineup of conservative talk on a new channel here in Boston,” said Alan Chartrand, President of iHeartMedia’s Boston Region. “We are confident that with the biggest names in the talk radio format, we’ll be able to serve our listeners and advertisers well.”

With a more powerful signal, we can now reach a wider audience.” Thanks to the miracle of modern technology, Talk 1200’s programming will also be available on WJMN 94.5 HD2. WKOX-AM is currently Spanish CHR Rumba 1430 and is awaiting spin-off.
