Crenshaw Now A Florida Resident

RAMP has confirmed that veteran programmer John Crenshaw has traded in his native Ohio for an opportunity in sunny Florida, as he has been hired by Community Broadcasters Destin-Ft. Walton Beach as the new Operations Manager of Top 40 WECQ (Q92), Country WHWY (Highway 98.1), Adult Hits WWAV (102.1 The Wave) and Alternative WZLB (103.1 The Blaze).  He succeeds Wes Styles, who left in February for a programming opportunity with Neuhoff Media in Bloomington-Normal, IL.

Crenshaw (left) was most recently OM of Cumulus Media’s Youngstown, OH cluster and PD of Country WQXK (K105) until February. A native of Edinburg, OH, Crenshaw had transferred back to his home state in July 2016 after three years in Grand Rapids, MI, where he was Regional Operations Manager for 10 Cumulus stations in Grand Rapids and Northern Michigan, and PD of WTNR (NASH FM 94.5)/Grand Rapids. Crenshaw started his radio career over 30 years ago at WOKG/Youngstown, and he’s probably best known for his two decades of service over two tours of duty at Clear Channel’s WCOL/Columbus, OH.

Crenshaw is now decorating his new office and can be reached at 850-362-7626 or john_crenshaw@commbroadcasters.com.
