Crowley Hungry Three Hours Earlier
Crowley has been in Rochester since April of 2010, when he migrated north from the PD spot at Meridian Classic Rock WARO/Ft. Myers, FL. The move marks a return to the beautiful Pacific Northwest for Crowley, who earlier in his 26-year career spent four years as PD/morning co-host on Alternative KNRQ/Eugene, OR. He also worked for Jacobs Media from 2004 to 2007.
Commenting on his upcoming adventure, Crowley said, “Getting to work for Entercom Portland and having the opportunity to oversee heritage call letters like KGON is a once-in-a-career kind of deal. The chance to take this 48-year-old heritage station back to the top is one I just can’t pass up and I’m looking forward to forging new relationships in Portland. Thank you to Pat Paxton, Michael Doyle and Tim McNamara for this phenomenal opportunity.” With Crowley taking command of KGON, Brian Bridgman will continue to program KRSK (105.1 The Buzz).
