Cumulus Ups Madden To VP/Mainstream Rock

• Cumulus Media has promoted Derek Madden to VP of Mainstream Rock Formats. He will continue to serve as Operations Manager for Cumulus Minneapolis and Program Director of KXXR (93X)/Minneapolis.

Madden had previously served as Corporate Programmer, Rock & Alternative for Cumulus Media since late 2013. Prior to joining 93X in March 2015, Madden programmed sisters 95.5 KLOS/Los Angeles and KSAN (107.7 The Bone)/San Francisco. He earlier programmed the late KSJO/San Jose, served as MD at CBS Radio Hot AC KLLC (Alice @ 97.3)/San Francisco and spent nearly a decade on the air across the hall on the original KITS (Live 105).
