D-Strong Move Made By 102 Jamz
• Audacy announces the welcome return of DJ D-Strong as the first on-air talent on the recently relaunched Classic Hip Hop WJHM (102 Jamz)/Orlando, reclaiming his former afternoon drive shift.
D-Strong, who currently serves as the DJ and emcee for the Orlando Magic, launched his radio career on the original 102 Jamz back in 2003 and remained through its 2014 sign-off. Since then, he’s gone on to program multiple iHeartMedia stations, including 104.5 The Beat (WTKS-H2)/Orlando, Throwback 96.5 and Urban 103.5 The Beat (WGMY-HD2)/Tallahassee, and Urban WZCB (106.7 The Beat)/Columbus, OH.
“D-Strong isn’t just part of the Orlando community — he embodies it,” said Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry, Brand Manager of 102 Jamz. “His passion, work ethic and experience as both a programmer and talent make him invaluable wherever he’s needed.”
“I’m incredibly excited to return to 102 Jamz, the station that launched my radio career,” said D-Strong. “I look forward to not only being a part of this new chapter of the 102 Jamz legacy, but also engaging with our listeners and giving back to the community that has supported me throughout my journey.”
