Daniels Joins Tampa Bay’s 101.5 The Vibe

• Cox Media Group’s new Tampa Bay Urban AC outlet WTBV (101.5 The Vibe) has tapped market veteran Gordie Daniels as the new host of Midday Vibes, 10am-3pm Monday through Saturday. Daniels will also serve as The Vibe’s programming assistant.

Daniels is a Tampa Bay native who notably co-hosted the morning Freak Show over on Beasley Rhythmic WLLD (WiLD 94.1) for 13 years. He went on to work in Orlando at the former WJHM (102 Jamz) and WPYO (Power 95.3), and most recently spent two years co-hosting mornings at Cumulus Top 40 WHHY (Y102)/Montgomery, AL.
