Daniels Named OM, Cumulus Oxnard-Ventura

• Cumulus Media has promoted Dave Daniels to Operations Manager for the company’s stations in beautiful Oxnard-Ventura, CA. Daniels, who has done mornings on Country 100.7 KHAY since 2016, will retain that role while adding operational oversight of KHAY, Hot AC 95.1 KBBY, Classic Hits KRUZ 103.3 and Rhythmic Top 40 KVYB (106.3 The Vibe).

Daniels has over 30 years of experience on-air and in programming, and was previously Operations Manager for KSNI (Sunny Country)/Santa Maria, CA, and Operations Manager for heritage Central Valley Country KJUG Tulare-Visalia, CA. A three-time NAB Marconi Award nominee, Daniels won an ACM Award for Personality, Small Market for KHAY in 2018.

In making the big announcement of Daniels’ upgrade, Sommer Frisk, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Oxnard-Ventura, said, “This is a well-earned promotion for Dave Daniels.
