Dankwa Named PD of 95 Triple X/Burlington, VT

• VOX AM/FM Burlington, VT-Plattsburgh, NY announced that Kwame Dankwa is joining the VOX team as Program Director and afternoon drive talent at heritage Top 40 WXXX (95 Triple X)/Burlington, VT, with a start date of June 14.

Dankwa was most recently Brand Manager and afternoon talent at Townsquare Top 40 WJBQ (Q97.9)/Portland, ME until December. Before that he programmed iHeartMedia Top 40 WRTS (Star 104)/Erie, PA and the former KPWK (Power 93.3)/Seattle. No stranger to the unique dynamics of Vermont radio, Dankwa previously logged two tours of duty at Pamal Top 40 WZRT (Z97.1)/Rutland, VT — interspersed with a stint as APD/night jock at iHeartMedia Top 40 KWNW (101.9 Radio Now)/Memphis.

The announcement of Dankwa’s hire came from John Mullett, VOX AM/FM VP of Operations/Station Manager, who said, “We couldn’t be more excited to have Kwame join our team at VOX. His knowledge, experience, and infectious energy are going to be an incredible asset to 95 Triple X.”
