Danny Hill Returns To Bakersfield
• Stand by for the official announcement, but RAMP has confirmed that Danny Hill has returned to his former PD post at Alpha Media’s KLLY (Energy 95.3)/Bakersfield. Hill, who will also doing middays, succeeds former PD Miggy Santos, who is now PD/morning talent at One Putt Broadcasting Top 40 99.3 NOW FM/Fresno.
Hill famously spent five years as PD/morning talent at KLLY during its Hot AC “Kelly 95.3“ era under previous owner Buckley Broadcasting, right through the sale to Alpha Media and its 2015 format flip to Energy 95.3. After that he spent a year on Kauai as GM/OM/PD of HHawaii’s five-station cluster.
We’ve been following Danny’s road trip on Facebook as he and his family made their way back to the West Coast after an eight-month stint in Kansas as Market Manager with KBUF Partnership, a division of Ingstad Family Media, where he oversaw eight stations in multiple Kansas markets.
