Derrick Named OM Of SummitMedia Omaha
• Matt Derrick has been named Operations Manager of SummitMedia’s Omaha group and Program Director of Top 40 KQCH (Channel 94.1), effective June 17. He succeeds Mark Todd, who recently exited. The other stations in the cluster are Mainstream Rock KEZO (Z92), flagship of The Todd and Tyler Radio Empire, AC KSRZ (Star 104.5), Classic Rock KKCD (CD105.9) and ESPN affiliate KXSP-AM 590.
Derrick is inbound from Townsquare Media Boise, ID, where he has been Brand Manager of KAWO (WOW Country 104.3) and Top 40 KSAS (103.5 Kiss FM) since October 2018. The moves marks a return to the Omaha market for Derrick, who previously spent two years as FM Operations Manager for NRG Omaha until April 2018. Derrick previously served as Regional Programming Manager and SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Norfolk/Virginia Beach and Regional Programming Manager for Clear Channel’s stations in Wilmington, DE and Salisbury, MD. Derrick has also worked at the late KNGY (Energy 92.7)/Francisco and KHTT (106.9 K-Hits)/Tulsa, OK.
