Dickson Named Brand Manager Of WRRV
• Taylor Dickson has been promoted to her inaugural Brand Manager/Program Director position at Townsquare Media Alternative WRRV/Poughkeepsie, NY. She will also be moving from mornings to afternoon drive after the Fall 2020 book.
Dickson started her radio career at WBSU (89.1 The Point), the student-run radio station at SUNY College at Brockport, NY and joined Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley after graduation. She quickly moved up from the event staff to morning drive on WCZX (former Hot AC Mix 97.7), and later upped to APD/afternoon drive WCZX. Early this year Dickson crossed the hall to do mornings on WRRV, and in September, she was named Assistant Digital Manager.
In a staff email announcing Dickson’s promotion, Market President Jason Finkelberg said, “Over the last three years, Taylor has proven to be successful in everything she’s been asked to do and we are confident in her ability to lead WRRV into the future.” Dickson said, “Becoming a program director has been a major career goal of mine. To be programming my favorite format is all the more exciting. I’m grateful to have so many mentors and supporters help me get to where I am today.
