DJ Buck Named Brand Mgr., KQKS/Denver
• Audacy has tapped DJ Buck as the new Brand Manager of Rhythmic KQKS (KS 107.5)/Denver, where he will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations, and branding. Buck will continue to serve in his longtime role as Brand Manager and morning show host for WZMX (Hot 93.7)/Hartford, CT.
In making the announcement of DJ Buck’s appointment, Micah Goldberg, SVP/Market Manager of Audacy Denver, said, “With his exceptional experience and deep-rooted passion for Hip-Hop and Rhythmic music, DJ Buck is undoubtedly the perfect choice to lead the station to new heights. DJ Buck got his start in the music business as a local record store manager for Skippy Whites. He was also responsible for bringing Hip-Hop to Rhode Island College’s WXIN. He later landed his first commercial radio gig at WWKX (Hot 106)/Providence, where he worked his way up to Program Director. After five years, he was named PD of then CBS Radio-owned WZMX, where he has made his home for the last 22 years.
