Dobbins Named Content Director @ WDJX
• Alpha Media Top 40 WDJX/Louisville welcomes Joe “JDub” Dobbins aboard as the station’s new Content Director and afternoon drive personality. Dobbins succeeds JD Garfield, who in July returned to Impact Radio Group in Boise, ID to program Rhythmic KWYD (Wild 101) and Active Rock KQBL-HD2 (99.1 I-Rock).
JDub is inbound from scenic Youngstown, OH, where he spent the past 15 years at Cumulus Top 40 WHOT (Hot 101), most recently as PD/afternoons.When introducing JDub to the staff, Ben Davis, OM of Alpha Media Louisville and CHR Format Captain remarked, “We as a company have had our eye on Joe Dobbins for a while.
