Don Brake On The Move
• Don Brake has a new gig TBA! Brake announced his departure from West Virginia Radio Corporation (WVRC), where he had served in the dual role of MD/midday host on WKKW/Morgantown, WV and afternoon talent on WVMD/Cumberland, MD since joining the company in June 2017.
Brake said, “I want to thank West Virginia Radio Corporation for giving me the opportunity to be back on the air in my hometown of Morgantown, WV this past year. It has been an absolute blast, but I’m really excited to dig into the next opportunity I have ahead of my in my radio career.”
We understand that Brake’s duties at WKKW will be absorbed internally, and details of his new gig will be announced in July. Brake previously programmed WFRE/Frederick MD, WHWK/Binghamton, NY and WAYZ/Hagerstown, MD, and he also did mornings on WCAT/Harrisburg, PA. For now can be reached at fmonairbrake@aol.com.
