Downsizing Hits iHeart West Palm

• On Tuesday, April 9, the latest round of iHeartMedia restructuring reached West Palm Beach, FL, where RAMP has confirmed the departure of four people, including a couple of four-decade industry pros.

Let’s start at Top 40 WLDI (WiLD 95.5), where PD/afternoon talent Maverick and APD/MD Kelsi have exited. Maverick (pictured) had been in place since October 2015, following a transfer from the PD chair at Top 40 WGMY (107.1 Kiss FM) and Country WTNT/Tallahassee. Maverick previously programmed the late WABB/Mobile and spent a decade in Atlanta, with stops at WWVA (Wild 105.7), WBTS (95.5 The Beat) and WWWQ (Q99.7). The restructuring also extended across the hall, where it caught up with Andy Preston, MD/afternoon talent and a 28-year veteran of Classic Rock WKGR (98.7 The Gater) and Mike Perry, a 20+ year veteran of middays at AC WOLL (Kool 105.5).
